Residence Halls
With more than 11,000
students living on campus, and thousands more living nearby,
UConn provides a variety of community
settings within our University environment. Our exceptional
residential experience balances academic study and learning
with an abundance of social options.
Student demand for
our housing has never been greater. Virtually all University of Connecticut residences
are wired for high-speed Internet and cable, and include a
bed, desk, chair, mirror, dresser and closet. You'll personalize
your living space to reflect your unique personality. Most
residential communities have volleyball courts, study and
game rooms, lounge areas and laundry facilities. Almost all
residential halls are co-ed, most with men and women living
on alternate floors.
Each residence hall has a unique culture, offering you opportunities to learn, relax, make friends and feel right at home. Some students live in learning communities for specific UConn academic programs. Our residents build relationships and forge friendships that last a lifetime.
