Undergraduate Admissions
Check Your Status
Thank you for applying to UConn! You can check the status of your application at any time by using UConn's applicant portal. It will be important to check your applicant portal often for updates regarding the receipt of application documents and the status of your application.
To ensure you receive important application-related communications from the University, please add beahusky@uconn.edu to your contact list in order to prevent our emails from being marked as spam.
Accessing Your Applicant Portal
Prior to accessing your applicant portal, you will need to activate your NetID and set your password if you have not already done so. Most applicants can expect to receive their NetID via email within five days of submitting the application; however, students who submit the application in August will receive their NetID in mid-September.
If you have previously attended UConn, including participation in UConn Early College Experience, your NetID will remain the same.
Next Steps
Once you have accessed your applicant portal, your next step is to begin your Self-Reported Academic Record (SRAR) (if you are applying as a first-year student attending a U.S. high school) and follow the directions to appropriately link your SRAR to the University of Connecticut. If you are applying as a transfer student, or are a first-year student attending a high school outside of the United States, your official transcript should be submitted in lieu of the SRAR.
Please note: It typically takes a minimum of three business days to record receipt of supporting application documents, but can be longer during peak periods in the application cycle.
