Business and Engineering Day for Prospective Students

Engineering Program 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. , Business Program 9:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Interested in pursuing a degree in business or engineering? Academic presentations from the Schools of Business and Engineering faculty, paired with information regarding admission, financial aid and the honors program provide prospective students with what makes UConn an extraordinary place to learn. (Academic presentations scheduled for this program will be similar to those given at the All-Access Open House on September 15th.)
UConn's distinctive Husky-for-a-Day Program offers students an up-close look at UConn life. Participants will:
- Attend a UConn class with a student host.
- Visit a student's room in one of our residence halls.
- Explore the campus.
- Enjoy lunch in a campus dining hall.
- Speak with UConn students and Admissions representatives.

Parents/guardians are invited to attend the morning informational session. While students are with their UConn host, parents are welcome to join a pre-arranged campus tour or explore campus on their own.

From acting with Connecticut Repertory Theatre to designing the next generation of 3-D animation, the School of Fine Arts offer a wide array of courses of study for all students interested in the arts. Presentations by each program area (Art & Art History, Dramatic Arts, Digital Media & Design, and Music), along with one-one-one student interactions, will provide participants the opportunity to experience the excellence of UConn Arts.

We invite you to explore all that UConn and Connecticut Community Colleges can offer talented students such as yourself. Join us for our College Application Night, which will include presentations by UConn’s Undergraduate Admissions and Financial Aid Offices, along with information on our Guaranteed Admissions Program through Connecticut Community Colleges. You will also have the opportunity to begin your UConn application on site. Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend. Free parking is available at both locations.

Digital Media is the convergence of digital art, science technology, business and humanities yielding unique and powerful forms of communication.
The event is open to all prospective high school seniors interested in learning more about Digital Media and the career opportunities that exist within the field. The evening will be focused toward demystifying this rapidly growing field and sharing specific information about the B.A and B.F.A program now offered in Stamford and Storrs with concentrations in:
- Digital Media Marketing
- Game Design and Gamification
- Digital Humanities and Gamification
- Motion Graphics
- 3D Visualization
- Web and Interactive Design
Students interested in marketing, business, graphic design, entertainment, the humanities and science technology should consider attending this event.
