Undergraduate Admissions

Storrs Main Campus Tours

The Lodewick Visitors Center provides student-guided campus tours for prospective students and their families, group tours for high school students, and other specialty tours. Student tour leaders provide information about the admission process, our quality academic programs and campus life. Campus tours are offered year-round and are available most Mondays through Saturdays. Combine a tour with a visit to our award-winning Dairy Bar  — walk, learn, and reward yourself with New England's best ice cream!

Tour Highlights

  • 30-minute, student-led information session followed by a 90-minute walking tour;
  • Visit to a room in a residence hall, academic buildings, Student Union, and Gampel Pavilion;
  • Photo with the statue of UConn's mascot, Jonathan the Husky. Don’t forget to rub his nose for a bit of good luck!

Group Tours

Group visitation programs are designed for high school students and college transfer students. School group tours are limited to 50 guests and reservations required at least three weeks in advance of visit. To arrange a school group visit, call (860) 486-4900.

Middle School Groups

Introducing middle school students to college is laudable. However, due to resource constraints, students must be from a high school, college or organization that caters to this age group to participate in a UConn guided program. Upon request, we can relay self-guided and age appropriate activities that middle school teachers and counselors can do with their students. To discuss middle school visit self-guided itineraries, call (860) 486-4900.
